Jesus resuscitates and appears the Magdalene and orders the evangelization the world - Mark 16

Resurrection of Jesus Christ

1- And the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought fragrances to go and anoint him.

2  - And on the first day of the week, they went to the tomb early in the morning at sunrise.

3 - And they said to one another, Who shall turn the stone for us from the door of the sepulcher?

And when they looked, they saw that the stone was already rolled up; and she was very great.

5 - And they entered into the sepulcher, and beheld a young man sitting on the right, clothed in a long white garment; and they were astonished.

6  - And he said unto them, Be not dismayed; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified; he is risen, he is not here; this is where they put him.

7 - But go, tell his disciples, and Peter, that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you.

8 - And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher, because they were possessed with fear and wonder; and they said nothing to anyone because they feared.

Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene

9 - And Jesus, having risen on the morning of the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

10 - And she departed, and told it to them that were with him, and they were grieved, and weeping.

11 - And when they heard that he was alive, and that he had seen her, they believed him not.

12 - And afterward he appeared to two of them, as they were on the way to the field.

13 - And they went and told the others, but they did not believe.

The Order of Jesus for the Evangelization of the World

14  - Finally he appeared to the eleven, as they sat down at the table, and reproved them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen him already risen.

15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 -  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 - And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they will speak new tongues;

18 - They will take the serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not harm them; and they shall lay their hands on the sick, and heal them.

19 - And the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

20 - And they departed, and preached in all parts, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with the signs that followed. Amen.
