First miracle of Jesus at the wedding of Cana - John 2

Jesus at the wedding of Cana in Galilee
- And on the third day there were marriages at Cana in Galilee; and there was the mother of Jesus.
- And Jesus and his disciples were invited also to the marriage.
- And when there was no wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
- Jesus saith unto him, Woman, what have I to do with thee? It is not my time yet.
- And his mother said unto the servants, Do all that he saith unto you.
- And there were six hangings of stone laid there, for the purifications of the Jews, and in each one there were two or three almudes.
- Jesus saith unto them, Fill these water-houses with water. And they filled them up.
- And he said unto them, Take now, and lead to the master of the house. And they took it.
And as soon as the master-room tasted the water made wine (not knowing where it came from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew it), called the master-room to the bridegroom,
And he said unto him, Let every man put the good wine first, and when they have drunk well, then the inferior; but you have kept good wine so far.
- So Jesus began his signs at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
- And after this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples; and they stayed there not many days.

The merchants expelled from the temple
- And the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
- And he found in the temple those that sold oxen, and sheep, and pigeons, and the changers that sat.
- And he made a whirlwind of cords, and cast them all out of the temple, even the oxen and the sheep; and spread the money of the changers, and overturned the tables;
- And he said unto them that sold pigeons, Take these from hence, and make not of the house of my Father a house of sale.
- And his disciples remembered what is written, The zeal of thy house hath devoured me.
- And the Jews answered and said unto him, What sign will ye show us to do this?
- And Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
- And the Jews said, This temple was built in forty and six years, and thou shalt lift it up in three days?
- But he spake of the temple of his body.
- And when he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had told them this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.

Many believed in Jesus
- And while he was in Jerusalem at the passover, and at the feast, many, seeing the signs which he did, believed in his name.
- But Jesus himself did not trust them, because he knew all men;
- And he needeth not that any man should testify of the man, because he well knew what was in man.
